About Us

Where to begin?

We at www.gibraltarinformation.com are the Bush family and we started this website just over a year ago.

Our Family

My name is Wanda and I am the mother of our family and the main contributor to this website. My husband, Paul, and I have four boys (the eldest being a teenager and the youngest a toddler) whom also contribute in various ways. My eldest son, Paul, has become quite a ‘star’ writer and my younger boys all contribute with ideas and photos.

I have a finance and artistic back-ground (worlds apart, I know), but I have found this useful as it gives me both the business mind and the creativity that’s needed. My financial training has been since school and college and my artistic training has evolved over the last twenty years or so.

We all live, school and work in Gibraltar and have a passion for our home and never tire of what Gibraltar brings to us each day. The views, weather, people and the wildlife all help to make Gibraltar an exciting, safe and interesting place to live.

Gibraltar is at the southern most tip of Europe and uniquely placed to provide variety in places to visit and things to do. In a few hours we can be in Morocco (North Africa) or Ceuta (Spanish enclave adjoining Morocco) by crossing the straits of Gibraltar by boat.

Spain is literally on our door-step and is a vast country with plenty of places to visit, including the Sierra Nevada mountains of Granada for great skiing. Picturesque Ronda is also nearby as is the sunny Costa-del-Sol and of course Portugal.

A trip to the United Kingdom is also only a short journey away by plane, around 2.5 hours.

I hope you enjoy our website and are able to contact us or contribute in some way.

Best wishes

Wanda
